Local Area Information
Penjoly is conveniently located for a wide range of
activities and attractions. For the actively minded,
golfing, sailing, surfing, horse riding, fishing, walking
and cycling along the Camel Trail are all available in
an area of outstanding natural beauty. Other
attractions include sandy beaches, the Eden Project,
and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are only a twenty
five minute drive. The surrounding area also has
excellent restaurants. Bistros and pubs. We are

There are many wonderful coastal walks throughout
North Cornwall with panoramic views and then
there’s the Moor – Rough Tor and Brown Willie have
some of the best views across the area.
There is so much to do and it is all easily accessible.

‘Seven Bays for Seven Days’
There are seven fantastic Cornish bays in the area. The
furthest of the seven is only a short 15 minute drive away.
Further afield:
Truro with its fantastic cathedral is 30 minutes away.
Bodmin, and it's mainline railway station are also around
a 30 minutes drive. Newquay, the UK surf capital, is 20
minutes away along the very scenic coast road, which
will also take you past Jamie Oliver's 15 Cornwall
restaurant. Also Newquay Airport is about 15 minutes
away by car.
